How to Create Contacts

Prerequisites: None Alternatives: Bulk Load Contacts

  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu options: CRM> Contacts.

    You will now see a list of any existing Contacts along with the Add button.

  2. Click the Add button to create a new Contact.
  3. When the Contact entry screen opens, fill in all the required information along with options information and click Save.
    1. Required Fields
      1. Company - This is your company and is auto populated by default.
        • This will vary if Contact is for Customer.
      2. First Name
      3. Last Name
    2. Optional Fields
      1. Contact - Employee of your Company.
      2. Employer
      3. Email
      4. Phone
      5. Address 1
      6. Address 2
      7. City
      8. State
      9. Zip Code
      10. Country
      11. Time Zone
      12. Buyer Persona
  4. Once you have successfully saved your Contact, you are now ready to fill in any custom fields on the Additional tab.
  5. Once you have successfully saved your Contact, you can add Notes and Attachments.
