How to Add Project Types

  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu options: Projects > Project Type

    You will now see a list of existing Project Types.

  2. Click the Add button to navigate to the new Project Type entry screen.
  3. When the new Project Type entry screen opens, fill in all required information along with optional information and click Save.
    1. Required Fields
      1. Company - The company to which this Project Type belongs
      2. Name - The name of the Project Type (this will be shown in the drop down when creating or modifying a new Project)
    2. Option Fields
      1. Description - A more detailed description of the Project Type
  4. Click the Save button to save the new Project Type and make it available on the Projects view.
