How to Customer Deals

Add Quotes to Customer Deals


  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu options: CRM > Customer Deals.
    • You will now see a list of any existing Customer Deals along with the Add button.
  2. Click the Add button to navigate to the new Customer Deals entry screen.
  3. When the Customer Deal entry screen opens, fill in all the required information along with options information and click Save.
    1. Required Fields
      1. Company - This is your company and is auto populated by default.
      2. Customer - Customer the Deal is for.
        • For creating customers, see Create Customer
      3. Contact - This is the Contact for the Company
        • For creating contacts of Customer, see Contacts for Customer
      4. Deal Name - Name of the Customer Deal
      5. Description - This is a free form entry field to give a short description of the Deal.
      6. Depends on Deal - Use to indicate that this deal is dependent upon another deal.
      7. Assigned To - Employee of your Company.

      8. Product or Service -
      9. Amount -
      10. Sales Stage - Stage the Customer Deal is in

      11. Probability (%) - Probability that the Customer Deal will be accepted
      12. Start Date - Date Customer Deal started
      13. Due Date - Date Customer Deal is Due
      14. Close Date - Date Customer Deal is Closed
  4. Once you have successfully saved your Customer Deal, you are now have access to other tabs ready to add:
