How to Create Deal Stages

Deal Stage is used to define stage that a Customer Deal is currently in.

In Symbient Opta, the Deal Stage is used to moved to Deals through its life cycle You are able to define the stages that fits your company's needs.

Deal Stage is Required for Customer Deals.



  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu options: CRM > Deal Stages.
    • You will now see a list of any existing Deal Stages along with the Add button.
  2. Click the Add button to navigate to the new Deal Stage entry screen.
  3. When the Deal Stage entry screen opens, fill in all the required information along with options information and click Save.
    1. Required Fields
      1. CompanyId - This is your company and is auto populated by default.
      2. Name - Name of the Deal Stage
    2. Optional Fields
      1. Description - This is a free form entry field to give a short description of the Deal Stage.
    3. Special Section
      1. Drag Drop ability to sequence the Deal Stages. This is available on each Deal Stage.
