How to Create Milestones

Prerequisites: Projects
 Alternatives: None See Also: Add Tasks


  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu options: Projects > Milestones

    You will now see a list of existing Milestones.

  2. Click the Add button to navigate to the new Milestone entry screen.
  3. When the new Milestone entry screen opens, fill in all required information along with optional information and click Save.
    1. Required Fields
      1. Company - The Company to which this Defect belongs
      2. Name - The Name of the Defect
    2. Optional Fields
      1. Owner -
      2. Start Date - The date when this Defect is due
      3. End Date - The date when this Defect is due
  4. Once you have successfully created a Milestone, you can now add Notes.
