How to Reopen Previously Closed Dashboard Widgets

Prerequisites: None Alternatives: None See Also: None

Dashboard Widgets are individual boxes found on the Dashboard that provide simple ways to interact with the application, all from one location.

Widgets that aren't of interest to you can be closed or collapsed in order to provide additional real estate which is great for smaller devices such as cellphones and/or tablets.

When collapsing a widget, the widget will roll up to only display its title, collapse, and close buttons. When closing a widget, the entire widget itself will disappear from your Dashboard.

  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu option: Dashboard
  2. You will now see a Dashboard containing several boxes for things like Company Chat, Log Time, To-Do List, Quick Message, and Project & Task Statuses.
  3. Click on the left-pointing arrow displayed at the top-right corner of the page. This will expand a slideout window.
  4. Click the third icon (it looks like 3 gears) at the top of the slideout.
  5. Click to check/uncheck the checkboxes for any widgets you wish to show or hide on the Dashboard.
