How to Create Quotes
A quote is the estimated cost for a particular job or service.

Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu options: CRM > Quotes.

You will now see a list of any existing Quotes along with the Add button.

Quotes are grouped by Customer

Click the Add button to navigate to the new Quotes entry screen.

When the Quotes entry screen opens, fill in all the required information along with options information and click Save.

Required Fields

Company - This is your company and is auto populated by default.

Name - Name of the Quote

Status - What the current status of the quote is:

Selections
-
New
-
Pending
-
In Progress
-
Completed
-
Cancelled
-
On Hold
-
Optional Fields
-
Description - This is a free form entry field to give a short description of the Quote

Submitted On - Date Quote was submitted to Customer

Protected/Read Only Fields

Amount - This is the total of all products and services entered on the Items tab.

Special Fields
-
Has been submitted to customer - If this box is checked, the Quote has been sent to the customer.
