How to Searching Using the Search Box

Symbient Opta provides a number of different ways for you to quickly and easily search and find information you need. The Search Box, found on each list view page, is a simple and very fast way to search all fields at one time to find matching records.



  1. Log into Symbient Opta and click on the menu option of the desired information you want to search. For example,if you want to search on:
    1. Customer Orders, click on Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Customer Orders from the left-side menu.
    2. Inventory click on Products> Inventory from the left-side menu.
    3. Customers click on CRM>Customers from the left-side menu.
  2. Above the list view table and on the right, you will see the Search box.
  3. Simply enter the values you would like to search on and Symbient Opta will quickly search all the columns and rows for marches and display them to you.

    Note: The search requires at least 3 values be entered (ex: abc or a2c) before starting to search and filter your data.
